Perhaps all you folks who know Japanese can answer a question for me: Is it true that the Japanese language contains a special form of the pronoun "you", just for addressing the emperor? If so, how/when is that pronoun used today?

I don't know about 2nd person pronoun for the emperor, but the 1st person pronoun the emperor historically used when dealing with his subjects was "chin".

Apparently, "Tennou Heika", "Your Imperial Majesty" or "Your Heavenly Majest is a pronoun. And I suppose it's still used for the emperor.
