I love macro photography. I also love to wander around souvenir shops and take pictures of shiny objects I would never, ever buy. Here's the highlights of the "trinkets" photo album I put together, when I realized I had rather a lot of this kind of picture.

That's from a glassblowing shop on the Oregon coast. Used to be blue sky behind it, but I got all m4d ph4t ph0t0sh0p sk1llz on it.

very cool. i like the entire idea of taking themed photos. i have this idea set aside for when i finally get a cam-phone and actually have my camera w/ me everywhere i go to take pictures of all the couches and chairs i see sitting on the curb for pickup in san francisco... i doubt i'll ever get around to making a "missing children" style collage poster out of it.
