So. I'm anticipating the possibility of pain in my future: One cannot become attached to someone else without the potential for pain. It makes me nervous. Can I take the risk? Am I ready for it? Am I reading too much into a situation that will probably just wreck me? How come things work so beautifully in person, but when I am alone again, I have these doubts?
