Did more work on the ol' journal database in IHOP tonight. A good three hours of coding.

Noticed that all my pants are practically falling off me now ... the exercise is doing a lot of good.

Finished WarCraft III and tried a few scenarios, but in general I'm going to wait until $TIN_LOAF is back in operation. It may also be the right time to upgrade video cards, in a month ... too bad I ain't got the budget for it.

To throw away before moving : Eight issues of The Budapest Sun, Hungary's only English-Language Newspaper. It's a funny story why I have these. But I ain't telling it. :)

Tomorrow it's time to make more realtor calls.

Actually, my garbage doesn't go into the trash can, but into my notebook and note files -- which pretty much amounts to the same thing, but better (because there's always revision!).

What's wrong with $TIN_LOAF? As I understand it, it is a fairly good time to upgrade video cards, but like all computer system upgrades, it will always be a better time in a few months. I should probably upgrade mine, too, but it works OK for now. If I owned a copy of WCIII I might have a little trouble running it at maximum resolution, but I figure it's not a big deal to work with just 800x600.

As for realtors... I have some news of my own, there. I just signed the paperwork on a second house, here, and we'll close before the end of the month. So it looks like I'm not moving. I'm working on getting tenants, at the moment. It's weird being on the opposite side of the rental fence.

And if you don't mind, where's the window graphic from? I recognize it, but I'm having a little trouble placing it.

$TIN_LOAF is in several pieces up at Andy's place in Sac right now. So I'm using TiLoaf down here in Carlsbad. This laptop rocks my *@$&%!#^ socks.

And yes, it's always a slightly better time later, but this stuff goes in waves. ATI is about to release several new chipsets, and their current top-of-the-line stuff is about to take a price hit to clear the shelves.

Doh! Mine are tightening. Gotta get some exercise of my own, but I'm too busy right now, what with the day job and 3 new companies I'm creating. :P
