is that LED stuff 12v? I've seen that awesome flexi stuff for sale but it's tricksy for a non-engineery type to figure out a good 12v power source that's portable. TELL ME YOUR SECRETS. :D
This string is especially bad - it requires 12 volts and 5 volts. It is possible to go to an electronics store and buy a "lead acid"-style 12 volt battery. They come in varying sizes. However they are falling out of favor because they are environmentally devastating. The new sexy in batteries is hybrid lithium stuff, for example the Lithium-Iron Phosphate pack I used to supply 5v for the pictures.
What are your needs? I bet I can point you to a product that'd work.
I purchased a 12-pack of GE Reveal #83574 from this company on December 18, 2015 using Amazon. Four of the bulbs have burned out already. I checked Amazon for return policy, but LEDs R Awesome stopped the return policy for my purchase on January 31, 2016, less than two months after my purchase. This is unacceptable. If someone can tell me how to contact LEDs R Awesome directly, I'd appreciate it. Thank you, Paul.
That's pretty hilarious. Dude, this is just a livejournal post. I just called it LEDs R Awesome because I'd just bought a string of LEDs and was having fun with them.
