I've finished tinkering with my Nethack Ascension story, so there it is online. It used to be a very dry just-the-facts-ma'am field report, but I spruced it up with some humor and a fancy introduction. Tell me what you think! (If you can only get through part 1, I understand completely. It's a bit long. Making things overlong is a curse of mine. Uh, like this parenthetical aside. Way too long. Just keeps going. Err... Damn, it's been a loooong time since I looked at that. I wrote some notes in my PDA while I was hiking, but the notes are too sparse for me to unwind into a real narrative now. I've forgotten too much. I considered updating it with a "many year later..." sort of thing, going on the same kind this year and discussing what's changed and what hasn't, but I never got to go on that hike this year because we had to come home early. Perhaps next year?
