I am very proud of you for attempting, making, and finishing this trip. The man I met at the Binghamton Airport was not the same man I kissed goodbye in the parking lot of Trail's End in Trinidad, CO. From your post and your other journal writing (both here and on PTWS) it sounds like you found some of the mental clarity and physical purification that you sought. From the outside, it seems to me that the trip opened your mind and heart, both wider in already existing dimensions and also introduced new or unfamiliar degrees of freedom. Truly, the traveler's blessing.
Welcome back, and welcome to the next everything. :)
