Okay, 4:25am and my sweatsuit is on. Time for a jog.
I earned it ... after the last few days of cleaning up $Tin_LOAF.
Burned about FIFTY CDs, installed Windows XP and XP Service Pack 1, brought my old Windows 2000 secondary install back online, troubleshooted networking issues between powerbook and PC and Samba shares, ...
Had to boot from an emergency recovery CDROM a few hours ago and hack the mounted-devices portion of the registry. That was interesting.
The upshot: About 60 gigs of free space. Computer wired into other room. Very very latest configurations and patches. Maya 4 installed and ready to render.
Now the FUN STARTS!
And yes, I'm still working on the camping trip and Dad's History writeups. And scanning documents and cropping photos. Yow!
