Okay, I'm impressed. My monitor has a powered USB hub, with a Mac Pro keyboard plugged into it, and an optical mouse plugged into that. All of these operate on a power strip which I accidentally hit a few seconds ago. Monitor goes down, keyboard and mouse go down.

So I flip the switch again. Monitor buzzes on. Within five seconds, the computer finds the hub again, finds and identifies the keyboard again, finds and identifies the mouse again, ... the sensor lights up, the mouse icon reappears, the caps-lock light goes off ... and it's all back to normal.

This is actually useful!!

Er yeah. Anyway I'm going to knock down the computer in the morning, pack it all in the car, and head up to Sacramento for the fourth Braindead Monkeys Fest. Hope to see you all there.
