Wow, so many things to do. So many digital devices to obtain!

To Do this week: Attempt to record vocals. Pay car bills. Wash clothing. Visit the ATM and deposit a check. Clean out the back seat. Scan some paperwork. Prepare a birthday present. Attend a dinner. Write some more perl code. Never eat fast food again.

I just got seven episodes of Key the Metal Idol on DVD for 20 bucks. It's marathon time. As soon as I find the time.

Okay. All set up. Recording vocals when one has no studio is hard. I've charged the laptop, and installed the sampling software, and tweaked the microphone, and placed mp3 reference tracks on my handheld player. The only place I can do this with proper quiet, and without disturbing housemates, and without being interrupted, is in my car.

So I'm going to go on a drive now. I've never recorded myself singing seriously before. It's scary.
