The "bite me" attitude and regard for moderation makes this the most enjoyable for me, as a vegetarian who's had each and every one of these issues come up. I've often noticed that people pull out their agenda as soon as they know I don't eat meat, hoping to drill a hole in an argument I haven't made.

Great stuff. I read it a couple of times and chuckled a bit each time. I especially like how you properly define Vegan as a dietary choice. Excellent.

Some of this seemed familiar, for some reason ... did you base it on someone else's Q & A?

I've decided that I can't really label my own diet, which is basically vegetarian/vegan, so I've taken to telling people that "I'm vegan -- except when I eat meat." This always gets a laugh.
