The problem isn't television...that medium was the default method of information exchange (though mostly 1 way) for 60 years. Sure, there's a lot of crap, but there's a lot of crap in magazines, radio, and (gasp!) the internet. There are definatly people who overuse and get woefully sucked in to all of those media, however.

I often spend too much time being a dork, commenting on things like Christianity in chat rooms and church-state seperation and George Bush. As long as it's not ALL you do, you're fine =)
