I've noticed that that sort of thing is getting increasingly harder in modern RPGs... Too many times I've been oh-so-helpfully stopped from dropping fire on my own party members by the interfeace... I'm pleased to report that Oblivion is like Ultima 7 in that regard. If you shoot exploding orange fireballs at your friends, they damn well feel it. Hooray! :D
